Support for Deployment Team Leaders

GTS understands the challenges involved for each key member of the deployment team, and we offer real solutions. In particular, we have expertise in partnering with:
  • Operations Managers
    Whether an operations manager has no in-house training team or fewer trainers than required for a specific implementation, GTS provides support. We can cover the comprehensive training needs or supplement the efforts of in-house trainers during peak periods or for particularly large implementations.

  • Project Managers
    GTS can serve as an associate project manager by offering expertise in scheduling, managing timelines and developing documentation.

  • IT Managers
    GTS helps position the technology with users to ensure the highest ROI. We also ease the pressure placed on IT departments by training the help desk staff to field FAQs and by minimizing the influx of help desk calls.

  • Voice Engineers
    We collaborate with voice engineers to replicate the training environment and perform User Acceptance Testing, then discreetly report anomalies to them. Engineers also appreciate our ability to streamline end-user communication.

End-User Training Program Design, Development
and Implementation

Every deployment is unique, so GTS proactively assesses the needs of a particular project as well as the corporate culture, and then designs and develops a customized training program. That tailored program is delivered using Instructor-Led Training methods, which are based on the Adult Learning Theory (focused on presentation, demonstration and lab practice). Employees can learn through one of three approaches:
  • On-Site
    At the customer’s facility, our Instructor-Led Training is the best practice approach in that it affords our End-User Experts the opportunity to demonstrate the features face-to-face and enables users to practice using the technology in a controlled, risk-free environment.

    The presentation format may be offered for deployments that require training but lack equipment. We explain the technology using a presentation and customized at-a-glance reference materials.


  • Webinar
    Webinar training can be an ideal option for smaller deployments, especially those at remote locations. The instructor offers information and demonstrations, supported by interactive computer-based training tools and customized at-a-glance reference materials that illustrate product features and provide supporting information.


  • Audio
    Audio training is appropriate for some smaller groups as well. GTS facilitates training through audio conferences, supported by customized at-a-glance reference materials that enable employees to follow along as they listen.

Train the Trainer Courses
For companies with on-staff trainers who will deliver UC and UCC training to end users, GTS offers Train the Trainer certification courses. Participants are coached in not only the features and functionality of the new technology but also the facilitation skills needed to deliver an effective learning experience for their end users. 

Customized At-a-Glance Reference Materials
Employees today simply don’t have the time to pore over hundreds of pages of technical documentation. GTS evaluates each organization’s specific needs and develops customized, concise reference materials highlighting the features end users will need. If an in-house trainer is involved, we also develop a customized Leader’s Guide.

Product Education
Guiding users to understand the new technology is critical to earning their buy-in. If you want them to use the new technology, they need to recognize and appreciate how it will improve their performance. GTS does exactly that, in terms that are relevant to each specific audience. We present the benefits of UC, demonstrate its functionality and field any questions users might have.

User Acceptance Testing
Try it out on us first! As engineers complete their initial design, GTS will act as a trial end user to identify any anomalies in the system. Our testing can help maximize functionality out of the gate and minimize the number of calls to the help desk.

Telephone Headset Optimization
Telephone headset functionality is critical to UC and UCC deployments. GTS evaluates the compatibility of the headsets and makes adjustments as needed to ensure the system’s optimal performance.
